Basic: Ruby Jackson was a thief in the past and now works as an angel hunter, and speaks in a Kansai dialect. (FYI: Apocripha/0 is in a demon's point of view, so their enemies are angels) He is Carrol's older half brother, related by their common demon blood. His trust diminished in Carrol when his half-angel brother betrayed him and left him the scar on his chest.

Descriptions: Ruby definitely has a typical bishounen-look -long red hair that he ties in a low ponytail, and purple eyes. He has a white band around his head and red earrings. Tied around his neck is a necklace, and above his chest, between his neckbones, there is a sakura/flower tattoo (?) inprinted on him. There is a large slash diagonal from his left shoulder onto his chest. Most of the times, his upper body is bare with a green cloth (attached to his pants) hanging on his shoulders, and his marigold pants have big brown blossom-petaled imprints on them. He wears dark navy blue hunting gloves and brown sandals.

Character: Ruby is pretty much a carefree person that thinks positive most of the time. He is your typical funny happy-go-lucky bishounen, very outgoing and loud and much to talk. He tricked Alex once and pushed him into the water to just tease him. And after that, he tricked Alex in going into the water to get something when there was nothing. ^_^; When Alex was sad, Ruby showed him all these things, such as grapejuice and the moon outside, to cheer him up. It seems that Ruby does fabulous jobs cheering others up, but when others cheer with him, he gets shy and embarrassed [referring to spoilers with Carrol's reunion]

Oh yes, Ruby is definitely a drinker as well. He often hangs around the bar, and he let Platina a sip of sake, but unfortunately the poor prince passed out in minutes. ^_^; To Platina, Ruby definitely have more etiquette and knows his place as subordinate, though he does not hesitate to let Platina have fun for a while. He also described that Platina's appearance and calmness reminded him of Carrol.

In the manga, he told Alex and Sapphirus that everybody believes that Platina is the better prince. I'm sure he didn't mean to call Alex "stupid," but it was because of the rumors. Ruby, although makes fun of Alex, does sympathize Alex. Otherwise, why would he offer to help with Alex's training?
